On June 12, the Summit Forum on 'Normalization of High-quality Development of Epidemic Prevention Materials for Masks', jointly sponsored by Guangdong Plastic Industry Association and Guangzhou Quality Supervision and Inspection Research Institute, were successfully held at Kingfa Sci. & Tech. Co., Ltd. More than 130 experts from nearly 100 enterprises and scientific research institutes participated in the forum.
Dr. Li Jianjun, Chief Strategy Officer of Kingfa, delivered an opening speech. Li said that under the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic since the end of last year, the importance of mask products has become more prominent for reviving the economic and social vitality. Li hoped that the participating companies take this forum as an opportunity to seize new technological and industrial opportunities, make good use of complementary advantages, focus on win-win cooperation, cultivate more growth points, and thus injecting stronger new momentum for the normalization of high-quality development of epidemic prevention materials for masks.
Dr. Yang Youqiang, Product Development Engineer of Kingfa, and Dr. Lu Ming, Technical Research Engineer, delivered reports on "Current Situation and Future Development Directions of Epidemic Prevention Materials for Masks" and "Mask Standards in Various Countries" to introduce industry trends. Dr. Chen Qingkui from Shandong Dawn Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. made a report on "R&D History and Development Trend of Meltblown Materials", pointing out that the application and market expansion of meltblown materials depends on the continuous innovation and development of raw materials, technologies and equipment. Dr. Wang Wanjuan of Guangzhou Quality Supervision and Inspection Research Institute introduced the accreditation and testing services of protective products based on performance and testing requirements.
Subsequently, President Fu An of the Guangdong Plastics Industry Association delivered a speech. Fu highly praised the epidemic prevention and control contributions of participating companies and members of the Guangdong Plastics Association, and affirmed the high efficiency of the association in formulating standards for epidemic prevention products. On behalf of the Association, he expressed his gratitude to the more than 30 drafting companies and institutes, especially to Kingfa’s active participation and contribution. He believed that with the joint efforts of the entire industry, a standardized development platform will soon be built for the normalization of high-quality development of epidemic prevention materials for masks, making new contributions to protect people's health.
