Kingfa Medical AI Vision Inspection System — Ushering in a New Era of Glove Quality Control
Sep. 04, 2026

Against the backdrop of a global shift toward intelligent manufacturing, building a standardized quality-control system powered by smart equipment has become the essential path to consistently delivering high-quality products. In the past, the medical-glove industry relied on manual sampling inspection — judging the quality of an entire batch from a small set of samples. The inherent uncertainty of human factors and sampling has long been a major source of risk in quality management.

To meet growing market demand and ever-stricter quality standards, Kingfa Medical has introduced an AI Vision Inspection System that performs inline inspection of every glove produced. It effectively eliminates the quality fluctuations caused by human and sampling uncertainties — marking a leap from “the human eye” to “AI-driven control.”

Installed at the back end of the production line, the AI Vision Inspection System uses multi-station high-definition, high-speed cameras to capture glove defects — holes, dark spots, contamination, foreign objects, tears, and more. The AI engine then classifies the defects, and an automated rejection device removes any defective gloves, ensuring that only qualified products reach packaging. At the same time, the system feeds real-time quality status of the line back to the Quality and Manufacturing centers, which jointly rate the line's overall performance and drive continuous improvement across departments.

Multi-Station Collaboration for Full-Coverage Inspection

To identify surface defects on both the inside and outside of every glove more comprehensively, our engineers have installed ultra-HD, high-speed cameras at three key stations — pre-demoulding, during demoulding, and post-demoulding. Each glove is captured more than seven times, ensuring a true 360° inspection with no blind spots. The images are sent to the AI center, which judges the glove's appearance, issues a rejection command for any defective glove, and triggers the rejection unit to remove it before packaging. The AI vision system has significantly reduced the escape rate of defective gloves and lifted overall quality.

Digital Management for Continuous Process Optimization

The AI vision system is complemented by a complete data-management suite that safeguards product consistency from the source, delivering high-quality protective gloves to our customers:

1、Defect Tracing for Process Optimization

The system enables access to historical defect‑sample images. Root‑cause review of defects drives reverse optimization of production processes, lowering the outflow rate of defective products at the manufacturing stage and ensuring stable and reliable quality of finished goods.

2、Transparent and Controllable Production Process

Key metrics including total production‑line inspection volume and defect ratio are visualized in real time. Full‑process quality monitoring is realized to guarantee the qualification level of delivered products.

3、Pre‑emptive Interception of Batch‑scale Risks

Upon detection of equipment anomalies or concentrated defect outbreaks, the system triggers immediate alerts. It rapidly curbs mass defect generation and minimizes the risk of defective items reaching customers.

Centralized glove‑production data management is realized via the central control room. Managers can keep real‑time track of glove quality dynamics on production lines, swiftly identify batches with surging defects, and enforce strict quality control right at the production source.

Replacing conventional experience‑based judgment with data‑driven production, the system effectively brings down product defect rates. It ensures the delivered gloves meet compliance requirements in both performance and appearance. Furthermore, it helps customers avoid operational risks and return‑replacement losses caused by quality‑oversight failures, and stabilizes customers’ on‑site operation and procurement experience.

Data-Backed Quality Leap

The core strengths of vision inspection lie in inspection efficiency and quality stability. Backed by an AI defect database, vision inspection outperforms manual inspection across multiple indicators — including inspection speed, false-reject and miss-rate control — and eliminates the variability introduced by differing operator states and experience. AI performs real-time, inline 100% inspection, photographing and identifying every glove. Manual inspection relies on sampling, where a sample represents the entire batch — making it unable to detect sudden or localized defects, which then escape as defective products and trigger quality incidents.

The comparison below clearly shows the measured gap between manual inspection and vision inspection:
