What should we do if we get infected with COVID-19? A self-protection guide for coronavirus

However, the damage of COVID-19 to human body should not be underestimated. So, as a family or individual, how should we protect or save ourselves when the disease appears around us or even on ourselves? This article will give you some useful suggestions.

 


If you feel yourself infected, how to judge the severity of the disease?

1. If you are under 50 years old, have no basic diseases, and have been vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine, and the symptoms after infection tend to be influenza, then don't worry, just find out in time and take medicine.

2. If you have one of the following symptoms, please go to the doctor in time:

lDizziness, confusion, obvious change of mental state

lWeak and unstable

lThe fetal activity of pregnant women decreases or stops

lChildren's mental state has changed significantly /can't eat/ have diarrhea and vomiting for more than two days

 

How to recover as soon as possible?

lOpen the window for ventilation. If possible, use the air purifier to ensure a comfortable environment

lEat regularly. Eat more fruits and vegetables, drink more water

lEnsure adequate antipyretic drugs, throat lozenges, blood oximeter and other drugs

lExercise moderately when in good health

lEnsure adequate sleep and maintain a stable emotional and mental state

 

How to avoid infecting others?

lSelf-isolation. Wear masks when contacting with fellow residents, and try to keep a distance.

lPay attention to hygiene. Wash your hands frequently, pay attention to cleaning toilets, wash basins and other common facilities, and try to avoid sharing with others.

lDispose of personal garbage and wash personal clothes separately.

Have meals with the patient.
